I decided to go out with my son one afternoon to a place I'd only ever been on the motorbike. This avenue is surrounded on either side by broad-acre farming: a quite unusual site for a place normally littered with small farms tended by hand.

The man riding this bike was only one of a fairly regular flow of people walking or cycling. Most of the people were carrying heavy loads of timber either on the back of their bikes or balanced precariously on their heads.
